I think Minnesota is going to beat Detroit
#1
I have an oddly rare good feeling about a big game. I think this Viking's team is tougher, more in the physicality/be tougher culture and lead by amazing coaches on both sides of the ball. But Sammy is the X-factor. I think Detroit is going to bring the kitchen sink and Darnold is going to have to deal quick. And KOC will gameplan for it and we get to see Good Sam ball. B-Flo is going to bring it exotic on the Detroit offense. Ive never heard opposing D-coordinators recently talk about the Viking's O-line 'moving people off the ball', but I've seen pressers of D-cooridnators of the Jets and 49ers that have said that.

Minnesota gets up quick early and garbage yards later its not this close: Vikings 28, Lions 20.

Long time listener...maybe 10th time caller....

I hope you are right.  The thing that scares me the most is their offensive line.  We will be able to tell in the first 2 Lions offensive series if the Vikings can stay in this.  If their OL is mauling the defense and they are breaking off 6,7, 8 yards runs at a time and Jarrod Goff can sit back in the pocket and make a sandwich, it will be a long day.  If Flores magic can keep them from their 12 play 10 minute drives, I think the Vikings can win it.  But if that OL starts controlling the game..it will be a lonnnngggg day.

Their Oline is a challenge.  I like us at home by a FG.

A healthy Aaron Jones would help a bunch and yah, Darnold needs to be on his game

Goal #1 for the D is contending with their running game. Get Goff behind the sticks.

Too close for me to call this one, I dont have a gut feel for these division games vs GB & Detroit.

I hope we get the "W" cause we end the regular season at their place.

No doubt. They have the best offensive line in the NFL and it will be a challenge for the good guys. But the Packers and Jets have top 10 OLs too and we played them well. Our defense isn't really a maul or get mauled proposition anyway. Our guys come from everywhere and what you see pre-snap is seldom what you're going to get. Can't block 'em if you can't find 'em.

When I was a lad, we’d always go hunting on the days the Vikes played the Lions, for years it was about as sure of a win as there was…  Cool Angel

Ha, yeah I was superstitious sometimes when I was young with the games. I'd quit watching for 10 minutes to see if that helped, lol. Or take my .410 and walk our property looking for woodcock or partridge....and then check back in.

No doubt, and very possible.

Detroit has run all over everyone to date so that's the key to the game for me. I'm fairly certain they'll be able to move the ball, they just have so many weapons. But I like our defense too so just gotta hope to limit them to FGAs or to force turnovers.

I think it's a close game and hopefully Sam can lead us to victory. I agree with others, Aaron Jones' status is a big deal on how I feel about the result.

Not sure your prediction will be accurate without bullet points.
