Just read that Minnesota has more social media follows in the United Kingdom than any other NFL team. They love them some Vikings in the U.K.

Way back in 1983 the Vikings played the Cards in a preseason game. This was the first NFL game ever played in London and the Vikings won 28-10. I think that earned them a big following there.

I don't know if anyone remembers Geoff from England, but he used to hang around these boards several years ago, and I'll still run into him occasionally in Minneapolis since he typically stays in the same hotel we do. Good guy. He told me that game way back in the 80s was when he became a Viking fan. He has season tickets--or at least he used to. Lives in England and has season tickets. Now that's a fan.
