Jayden Daniels > Caleb Williams

Chicago again misses out on the best QB prospect in Jayden Daniels. Not really a debate at this moment in time. Stafford's two turnovers sunk them yesterday.

Yep. I think all the rookies will start playing better later in the year, but Daniels is already showing big improvement in the passing game. His ceiling is through the roof.

He looks really good! Durability will still be a concern but Lamar has managed to play that way and stay pretty healthy over the years. It can be done. Washington's defense still stinks but that offense is solid right now. Robinson at RB is a cool story too, after he got shot last year.

I'm curious if he can keep up this same passing efficiency when teams are able to keep him in the pocket and not let him run for first downs.

He won't. Right now, teams aren't used to his speed and running ability. He's going to have to show more in the passing game as his year continues. The gameplan is very simple for him right now. But I think its the right approach, build up his confidence. He has to avoid the hellacious shots he took in college running the football.

So far the Commanders have 23 scoring drives & Daniels has 19 incompletions.
Crazy…

One team has been really strategic with their rookie QB, not asking him to do too much and emphasizing the run game, the other team has put the offense on the shoulders of their QB, so do not think comparisons at this point can be accurate. In what I have seen the Bears Williams is playing behind a porous OL and having to carry the team. Williams had 52 pass attempts one game, how can you do that to your rookie? Washington has a really balanced attack and controlling the line of scrimmage with a great run game.

Williams pass attempts: 141 (4th most in the league)
Daniels pass attempts: 106 (20th)
Washington rushing: 134 rushes for 5.1 average (only 4 from most rushes in league and top 5 in average per carry
Chicago rushing: 100 rushes for 3.5 average (2nd worst average per carry)
