How much fun are we having, fans??
#1
What a blast these first 3 weeks have been. A complete and utter surprise. Another important fun game this Sunday. I feel very happy for Sam Darnold, good for him and good for us Viking's fans as well. Tip o' the hat to Mr. O'Connell and Mr. Flores. I'm utterly living in the moment as a fan. What the future holds, it will hold regardless.

As a Vikings fan, I'm measured most of the time, and only celebrate what's absolutely confirmed.

As an irrational sports fan, I'm a smug-as-f*** mofo that's being a complete bastard to my fellow NFCN peers...!
STRETCH RUN, VIKINGS...LET'S END THIS SEASON WITH BANGS!

Just give the Pack a good ol' fashioned beat down this week so that I don't have to listen to their fans here in Cheeseville anymore this season.

Well you know I pushed all my chips in back in July so I'm not surprised as everyone else but I am enjoying the ride.

This has been a fun start to the season no doubt. It's hard to blow teams out in the NFL and we have two already this season. One against a bad Giants team on the road and one against a strong Texans team in our house.

This doesn't feel like a mirage. The defense is playing really well, Darnold is playing some good football and we appear to have a pretty deep team on both sides of the ball. Reliable kicker, good coaching.

Enjoy the week to week NFL. We'll have a much better idea of what this team is like when we hit November. Next games are Green Bay (in Lambeau), Jets in London, bye week, Detroit at home, and Rams on the road.

Once we get through that stretch, I don't see any tough game until December.

Colts, Jags, Titans, Bears... that should be 4 straight dubs.

Keep in mind that the funny shape of the football creates odd bounces. And as Jared Allen once said (in his first season here, after a loss to a middling team), "hey, it's the NFL. Everyone is good."

I see darn few of us getting cocky after a mere 3-0 start to the season. Talk to me in February.

That's the best thing about it. THIS is the brutal part of the schedule. Packers are a good team and even better with Love, but Goff isn't playing very well right now. The Bears aren't as good as we thought they might be. Rams, Falcons, Jets probably aren't as good as they appeared this summer...in fact the only two teams remaining on our schedule that I'd say are probably better than most thought they'd be are the Seahawks and Cardinals.
