Vikings elevate Bo Richter, Robert Tonyan ahead of Texans game
#1
Must be extremely cool for Air Force OLB Richter. He's a moving bowling ball with knives coming out of it. Not sure if he sees any action, but would love to see the kid get a few plays. Special teams maybe? Richter is a pretty good athlete at 248 pounds. He ran a 4.56 40-yard dash, benched 24 reps of 225, and recorded a 40-inch vertical jump and a broad jump north of 10 feet at his pro day. Short arms however, which can make it hard for him to disengage from blocks.

Really happy for Richter, what a great moment for his family and him. With Turner out the way we have been rotating edge rushers, I think he will get some reps, hope he gets the chance to meet Stroud up close!

Interesting they promoted Richter over Gabe Murphy. I'd like to see him get a few snaps today.

I like both Richter AND Murphy. Yes, I find it interesting that he got elevated over Murphy.
You know that Richter is going to take advantage of any opportunity to flash and make a smart play.
And Tonyan...he's experienced at TE, and his back must be better. I expected him to be on the original roster ahead of Muse.
I am thinking this is one of the deepest rosters we've had in terms of depth in...well, certainly a long time
Such a good problem to have...!

Murphy might still be working through that injury.
