Nobody grades well against Dexter. Giants very clearly targeted Bradbury and Ingram with Lawrence, which is actually another feather in Brandel's cap.

Pressures allowed by #Vikings OL yesterday per PFF

LG Blake Brandel: 0
LT Christian Darrisaw: 1
RT Brian O’Neill: 1
C Garret Bradbury: 4
RG Ed Ingram: 6

The problem is that it typically doesnt take an above average DT to make Bradbury and Ingram look bad. We have 2 really good OTs, a ? at LG, but the other 2 on the IOL are still a huge problem and we will never go very far forward until they are replaced or make a HUGE improvement.. my money is on replaced.

Wow, three of our top five highest-rated offensive players are on the OL. Pretty damn impressive considering the Giant's front 7.

They're not going to be replaced this year if that's what you're hoping for. Ingram might when Risner comes back, but then we take a hit in the run game. It'll be interesting to see what the Vikings do.

But it's all about matchups. In last night's game, Chris Collinsworth called Frank Ragnow the best center in the league. And he is definitely one of the best. But he struggled against Dexter Lawrence in their last matchup. Last year against the Falcons and Grady Jarrett, Ragnow's pass blocking grade was 19.7. Bradbury's pass blocking grade against the same Falcons DL was 65.8. It's all about game plans and matchups and how lines game plan to manage the interior pass rush.

If you're point is that this is not a team without weaknesses, no disagreement. But we just beat Dexter Lawrence's team 28-6, gave up one sack, ran the ball fairly well, and our ne're-do-well QB had enough time to complete his first 12 passes and now leads the NFL in passing efficiency. I think even you might find a sliver of hope in that. :-)
