Will be interesting to see where QB Cam Ward goes in the Draft
#1
I think the Big 3 QBs next Spring are going to be Carson Beck, Shadeur Sanders and Cam Ward, with just a step down for Quinn Ewers and Jalen Milroe. I don't see 6 QBs taken in the top 12 picks like last Draft, but probably 5 in the first round.

I spoke highly of Sanders last year and nothing seen so far to change my mind. He's impressive to watch, does the little things too.

I havent watched enough of those guys to have much of an opinion yet. I just hope we're not in the mkt for a QB for a long time.

Broke-in the new Samsung last night; watched A&M vs ND and neither of those QB's were impressive.

Saw lots of OL/DL and DB's I liked though lol!

My interest only lies in that I find it fascinating which QBs make it in the NFL and which don't. Minnesota has found theirs, lets not make any mistake about it: the Purple King is in house and will be more than ready for 2025. I think the NFL is a much more fun place with lots of hope and fan crushes on their new QBs in every city. I think the league is going to step into a new era with QBs which will increase ratings even more.

What do you think of your new TV? I'll be ready for USC vs. LSU later tonight. Mostly cloudy weather here in SoFlo today so good excuse to lock down on some football later.

As you recall from your youth, September is a transition month in the midwest. Summery now, very fall like in a couple of weeks. Cool morning walks, warm afternoons.

I love it.

I agree with you; are we entering a golden age of NFL qb'ing???

Not only did the NFL get a probable hero QB transfusion with the 24 first rounders, but thats on top of

Mahomes
Burrow
Jackson
Tua
Hurts
Stroud

These guys are not Stafford old, Goff is just 30 and Rogers, Kirko and others still playing.

Even if just 2 or 3 of the 24 class make it big, thats talent on top of really high qb talent in the league today. I dont remember it being like this in the past decades.

Love the new TV...65" OLED is perfect for our room and I got dvr, streaming and live tv juicing it.

I got USC/LSU on the recorder and NFL starts this week. Wife is grateful we're back to a couple of TV's again - she will watch Vikings, but thats it.

Can a loved one come collect this old man, take away his keyboard, and put him in a facility where he can spend the rest of his days eating soup and playing bingo?

I watched most of that game and Ward looked really good. He doesn't get rattled and he is somewhat of a gunslinger type. Pretty accurate too. I wouldn't complain a bit if we took him in the draft.

One game guys, one game so far this season.
Give me a minimum of six to eight games and then the body of work starts to shape up.
Yeah way, way, WAY too early.

I don't think so. Its not like Cam Ward was a nobody before this game. The body of work for these guys is already somewhat there....its just about what order they go and when.

I listen to the NFL Stock Exchange podcast which is owned by PFF. Every summer the hosts do a Summer Scouting series where they examine the top players at each position & project their draft position for the following draft. Usually they look at their top 10 players at each position but sometimes a few more. Evaluations are based on film study. None of the QBs that they evaluated had a first round grade going into this season & they did evaluate the top QBs. No doubt multiple QBs will be drafted in the first round as QBs are always overdrafted. But, it does show the difference in the quality of the QBs available in 2024 vs. 2025.
