The Purple Persuasion@TPPSkol
According to @Alec_Lewis
the #Vikings defense looked “dangerous” in the joint practices with the #Browns.

Lewis noted how great the OLB group looked specifically ?

“Vikings fans know what that means, but may not know how good Andrew Van Ginkel, now healthy, has looked recently. He and Jonathan Greenard provided constant pressure off the edge on Wednesday and Thursday. On Thursday, Patrick Jones II joined the party, exploding through the interior for a pressure. Rookie Dallas Turner long-armed his way around the edge for a sack, as well.”

Thats encouraging to hear - we just wont see much of it till the regular season.

Our reality is that if the D can hold-up + A.Jones stays healthy?

Darnold doesnt have to be all world for the Vikings to be competitive/win.

I'm just hoping that Darnold can give us something between Mullens and Cousins. I think he'll move the ball like Mullens did. We'll just have to deal with more turnovers than we're used to. Hopefully not as many as Mullens. Jones and Chandler should be an upgrade over Mattison and Chandler.

Defense is the big wild card right now. Really not sure what to expect. I'm optimistic Turner, Greenard and AVG can give us more than Hunter and Wonnum did. ILBs should be better. DL and S look to be about the same. Corner is where we're going to get hurt unless we can sign Gilmore.

Gilmore, Murphy, Griffin and Evans could be a better than average group.
