Which 2024 draft picks as yet unsigned, you ask?
#1
As of 6/21

1. Bears - Caleb Williams
9. Bears - Rome Odunze
10. Vikings - JJM
17. Vikings - Dallas Turner
18. Bengals - Amarius Mims

Sounds like Penix just agreed to terms (per Rapoport)

I read somewhere that JJM wants his money up front, or something to that effect...and while he's our high draft pick, he's currently QB3.

Easy there, slugger....

Yeah, it's weird. Don't know why. Just get signed here in the next few weeks before camp.

The latest bargaining agreement was supposed to slot the rookies so this shit wouldn't be an issue, but leave it to the agents to find a way to make it a hassle in some cases.

So, did Penix have his entire signing bonus paid upfront? If so, it strengthens JJM's case. If not, then no way.

Ive only been able to find this so far...

SourcesThe #Falcons and rookie QB Michael Penix Jr. have agreed to terms on his rookie contract. The No. 8 overall pick gets a 4-year deal worth $22.88M. His signing bonus is $13.46M.

Kwesi has been notoriously slow on contracts, which is slightly annoying as a fan. Hopefully they get JJ and Turner done before training camp so we don't have to continually read about it all summer long.
