Draft Day 3
#1
Vikings picking #108. Still some interesting names and players at receiver, running back, tight end and I really like the Texas tackle Christian Jones. Jeremiah Trotter still out there and some decent corners too. Looking forward to seeing how we finish this thing out

I think if the CB Tampa is still there they have to be all over him, DL Orlus, WR Franklin would be great value and would be ideal 3rd WR to add to the mix, also like WR Walker, two of my favorites RB Wright and LB Gray.

Going to be a GORGEOUS day in SoFlo......a little brunch out, back home by the pool and Day 3 of the Draft on the outdoor TV. Maybe a little day dreaming about our new boy, JJM,  and some adult beverages?

People sleep peacably at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.

Lots of talent still available. Hopefully some will still be available in Round 6. Dorlus would be a nice get @ #108. Has scheme versatility. Can play on the outside & kick inside to provide some pass rush. In addition to TJ Tampa, another CB that I like is Kris Abrams-Draine. I also wouldn't mind Sedrick Van Pran-Granger who could replace Bradbury in 2025.

Fuck off. It's raining like a pissing cow here and it's going to keep raining all day. 40 degrees. On the bright side, we desperately need the rain and it's perfect draft weather. :-)

Since I was laser focused on QB, I didn't study players this deep in the draft. There's a couple players that stand out to me.

Malik Washington, WR. Shifty little Tank Dell type might be a good WR3 for us.
Khristian Boyd, NT, 6-2, 320. This team could still use a bigger nose. I don't believe in drafting 1 or 2-down players early, but the 4th is a good spot. Dorlus
A few IOLs ...Bortolini is a great athlete. Sedrick Van Pran-Granger is a leader, super smart and experienced. South Dakota State's Mason McCormick is a guy two years from now people are going to wonder how he was taken so late.

I expect Flores to find a corner with some upside today. And I'm hoping we draft a kicker. Cam Little's the best. High FG percentage, hit a 68-yarder in practice and he's never missed an extra point. I want THAT guy.

Almost forgot one of my favorites: Isaac Guerendo, RB, 6-0, 220, runs 4.3, can catch the ball AND is a very good pass blocker.

I don't follow college football and definitely not SDSU but I have read really good things about South Dakota State's Mason McCormick and would support that selection.

I really like Will Shipley and Audric Estime. Jones is only on a 1 year deal and we'll continue to see on Chandler. I think both are potential starters and can give us some depth

UNSUNG HERO
Javion Cohen, G, Miami: After the 2021 season, his first of two as the starting LG for Alabama, he spent a month at a wellness recovery center to work on his mental health. In 2023, he proposed to his wife and welcomed a daughter. Cohen (6-4 ½, 322, 5.34) has 37 Power 5 starts and 34-inch arms.

Devontez Walker, WR, UNC, 6-2, 195, 4.3 forty, 40.5 vert, long arms. Needs to learn to run routes, but he's got HWS for days.
