It likely is KAM's most consequential draft, but it's like all the rest: wake me when it's over.

Until the kids play at the NFL level, it's all guesswork and projection. It's literally just as legit to hope for Darnold to come alive in our system/roster as it is to assume/project how well JJM/Penix/etc will do on our team. I'm great with drafting a new QB, but I kinda hope we use both of our 1st round picks and get a monster DT or OG with the other one. We need to finally build trench depth, among other things.

I'm very excited for the season, QB concerns aside. Flores will have had more time, Addison is training with JJ, the o-line actually made strides (FINALLY) last season...there are positives to build from, if KAM/KOC can do it...!

I would not be surprised that Minnesota finds a trade partner in the draft to get our quarterback.  The price they pay for this will probably cause me to stroke out (I'm really too old for that kind of trauma) and I can see this as setting the organization back a couple of more years.
