Honestly folks, aren't you all sick of the constant onslaught of mock drafts, proposed trades, preposterous analytics and comparisons by someone you've never heard of?
(P.S....I am not someone really important. Except to my dogs.)
I realize they are just trying to get clicks and generate traffic for their respective websites, so the more preposterous the headline, the better to get "fanatics" like us to click and see the "surprising" "shocking" (they are getting good at wordsmithing for clickbait sites, but after a while you can recognize the keywords they use.)
I am SOOO looking forward to the draft if ONLY to stop this incessant and now annoying make-believe, play-pretend predictions, none of which ever actually come to pass.
Skol brothers and sisters, but I am over it.
In the meantime, to Mike and all the team behind getting the new website operational...you guys rock.

I actually enjoy it for pure entertainment value. It is like the week before Christmas as presents accumulate under the tree -- is that a new lego set (and which one); that one certainly looks like a snow board; ahh, it looks like Aunt May sent socks again. It also helps me to get to know college players as I don't watch college football. It is an entertaining diversion and I put no weight in it.

I hate the 1 or 2 round mocks, but once in a while the deeper mocks ( like Guru's) or some of the posters will do position analysis that get deeper than the top few, that mention players that dont get talked to death, and that prompts me to go scrounging through utube to see what they are talking about, and when its on QBs, I often see and OL or a WR that doesnt get the recognition but becomes a guy I want to see more of.

Alright Purple Pastor, just for you, I am doing a 2-round mock draft.
First round:
Vikings #11 - Bo Nix
Vikings #23 - Byron Murphy II
Second round:
GOTCHA!

I like #23 and agree with your 2nd round. The rest is clickbait.

20 years ago I used to read every mock I could get my hands on. Now, there are just too many, and most are just lazy and uninformed.
Just read a 7 rounder this morning and imagined the conversation that must've prompted it:
We need a new mock draft
But I just did one three days ago.
Do another one. This time, make it 7 rounds
You know how utterly meaningless that is, right?
Of course, it will also generate a million clicks.

I really don't mind all the mocks, rather entertaining and sometimes amusing. Of course one must realize they're all speculation and not get to wrapped in the multitude of predictions.
