Interesting, did they say what the $ figure was?  A while ago I guessed that he would get 4 years, 3 guaranteed, with a dollar value of 190 mil.

Will miss 8!  Thanks to Kirk for a lot of great moments and for putting it all on the line, guy took a beating, but only had one injury in his time here and always played hard.  At this point in his career, it was the right move for the Vikes, they couldn't go 4 years.

See ya, Kirk.  Good thing we still have Mullens, Hall, and Dobbs otherwise the QB cupboard would be bare.  KOC has got to be pissed he's again without a QB.  Back to the NFCN basement we go. Confused

Give the man credit for maximizing his earning potential as a NFL starter. Wowzer. 4 years.....tip o' the hat, Mr. Cousins.

I'll miss Kirko Chainz.....but I didn't want him for 4 years. But I don't begrudge him a damn thing. The dude was a warrior and Ironman until this Achilles injury. KAM's going to have to pull a rabbit out of his hat, not sure if he can.

Man who always takes the money, takes the money. More shocking news at 9:00pm, following the season premiere of The Amazing Race.

A 36 year old quarterback coming off a brutal injury, wow.  Not many quarterbacks are still playing at a high level at 40 years of age when this contract expires, unless the Falcons built in some escape for the team.  Good luck to Kirko, but if he doesn't win the honeymoon may not last long.
