JJ makes it official

It's good to have more options at QB. McCarthy right now looks like a high end game manager. He's got good mobility and can make throws on the run and nice accuracy, but I'd prefer a QB with a better deep ball to pair with Jefferson and Addison. I definitely think a team could win with him at QB, but a player like Penix is a better fit for the personnel we have.

Ok, I'll start ..a reach @11???

Or are QB's that valued?

You are going to see teams look at him as a winner, upside as a 20 year old, what was he asked to do within the offense, and being coached by Harbaugh as favorable in making the NFL transition. I'd be shocked if he wasn't the next QB off the board after those initial 3

I sure hope he is still there at 11

Agree, very early in the process of course but I see him as a late 1st rounder into the 2nd round.  Excellent college game manager with a top-notch full team all around him including coaching.

I really like Jaylen Daniels and would consider a move up for him.  If not I would be happy with a Bo Nix at 11.

This is big news for the Vikings. No reason another year of growth can't happen in the NFL under Kirk Cousins.
Somebody offers Kirk 3 years at 55 you think he will say no thanks I’m signing with the Vikings...Team friendly deal one year for $30 million.
I think Kirk  would be all about longevity of a contract and the money.

Is it good news for the Vikings? Maybe because he wouldn't start right away. He hasn't been asked to do much so he has a lot to learn
Whether you like him or not is irrelevant. I'm not sold on JJM yet. Half of his profile is about projection. But in a year you need to draft a QB, the more QBs available, the better.

Given the limits of your question, no, he would take the money. But those are made up numbers with no basis in reality. Kirk's not going to get $55 from anyone. And the Vikings aren't going to offer him $30.

Agreed, some fans will be shocked @ $40mm per.

I just know we need to draft a QB this year due to us picking at 11.
I would hope that KAM and KOC don’t mess it up.

Packers up on Dallas 27 - 0
