Passing yards in the NFL don't mean what they did 25 years ago. The rules make it so much easier. And teams now allow so much garbage yardage in the 4th quarters and then try to tighten up in the red zones as a strategy when having a bigger lead.

That's what Mullens gives you. He runs the offense. He's going to put up yards. No doubt about that. But he's also going to turn the ball over. A lot. 

Hall not only has a better arm, he's more accurate and more mobile. I don't expect him to put up Mullens numbers, but if he can protect the ball, we'll be better off.
