No matter which QB we start, these next two weeks is a perfect opportunity for us to make superstars out of two unknown QB's. Something we are very good at.
You think the Vikings are the only ones??

No, but we are one of the best.

I wanna see how much JJ tilts the field, and if he does does can KOC exploit it  with his play calls.

Dobbs likes to run, Cousins doesn't. I wanna see what happens.

With any stud receiver the inclination defensively is to roll coverage and take him away,  with the way Dobbs has played IMO,  I would play straight up the way teams have been playing and force him to make the play before I start messing with my scheme that might allow him to make plays with his legs.   His timing and ball placement has been terrible the last 2 games,  now that he is trying to think out there instead of playing instinctual like the first 2 weeks.

Dobbs is in his own head IMO,  either the hype,  to much info to fast,  I dont know why,   but until he shows that those first 2 games weren't a fluke,  I try and keep him in the pocket and force him to hit am NFL open receiver.   That terrible miss to a wide open WR down the sidelines looms large in my memory right now.

Going to be named today per Wes Phillips. Honestly, it'll be anticlimactic, at least to me. Vikings are fading. I don't understand why it would be Dobbs other than the canned that it 'gives us the best chance to win'. Really? Over Nick Mullens? Dobbs isn't going to have a future in Minnesota beyond this season. No way it'll be Jaren Hall as the Vikings are still fighting for a playoff spot.....although I think that's what most of us would like to see.

As curious as I am to hear which QB is named the starter, I'm almost as curious as to hear which QB will be the back up. Because with number of QBs that have been injured this year, the back up could very well finish the LV game.

Yeah, may not even be an injury that causes that. I think whoever starts he's going to have a short leash if he's ineffective.

Should be Hall,  but I'm betting Dobbs.  I dont know that Mullins would necessarily give us a better chance than Hall but thats really pretty unfounded since we have seen so little of either.

Yes, the Vikings have finally become what many haters thought they were before the season: a marginal team who might sneak into the playoffs, but even if they do, they won't win. Just weird that it took injuries to QB1, QB2, WR1, CB1, OLB2 and ILB1 to get them there.

Right now I just want to do what's best for next year. And that's not losing to improve draft slot. It's winning to build a respectable foundation for a championship season in 2024.

My money is on Dobbs. Yeah he royally stunk out the joint last game but the team is still in win-mode. Plus, I’m guessing they want to see him with more prep time and JJ on the field. I don’t think it’s a foregone conclusion that Dobbs isn’t back next season. However, if he doesn’t start this week then yeah the Dobbs Era is likely over.

That's the rumor that's been floated the last few days. We'll find out soon.
