A little love for this guy. They mention the goal line stand against the falcons and how DH had to focus on the run that game. He made two plays on that stand on 2nd and 3rd down. The latter he didn't get credit for, but he shoved his blocker into the RB and really created the opportunity for others to make the tackle.
I just hope we can resign the guy. Maybe 2-4 years?

Me too.
He sure doesnt look to be losing much - at all.
So much will hinge on the QB, but they have a nice problem to solve:
Hunter
JJ
Darrisaw
TJH
He came into the league very young without a lot of college football tread on the tires and basically missed a full NFL season due to freak injury. Started only one game his rookie season so essentially he has only played 5 NFL seasons up until this year. He just turned 29 a couple weeks ago. He has at least 3 great seasons left I would think.
Right now he's as dominant as any Viking DE I have ever seen.

I wouldn't go that far. Chris Doleman has to be above that for me. Keith Millard, although a DT, was one of the most impressive pass rushers I've ever seen on any team from that position.

Didn't Doleman have some pretty good line-mates during his glory years?

Sure did. Man, what a group. Al Noga, Henry Thomas, Keith Millard....drool.

That would be my point. Would you rather have Noga, Hank and Millard or Tonga, Phillips and Wonnum?
Hunter has really refined his hands as well. The spin move last week was epic.

I get your point, my point is I still think Doleman is better than Hunter.
