Some excellent CFB matchups today.....

A good day to take it in if you can. Looks like a very cloudy day here in SoFlo, so that's a good excuse to watch sports all day inside. :p  Plus, I'm a bit hung after an event downtown last night so I've got a burger and some Bloodies in my future on the couch. The wife is hungover as well, lol....so she'll be napping on the sectional and Ill have a quiet Saturday!  B)

I agree.  Going over to split some firewood at a friends place on the lake, and watch Coach Prime in Oregon.  Then the Montana Griz down at Northern Arizona and then the Gophers and Northwestern on the Big 10 network.  Early this morning went and watched the Open Division of a regional Reined Cow Horse event...a sport unlike any football/baseball event but the Trophy Wife and I competed in the US and Canada for about a dozen years in cow horse disciplines.  There was some awesome horse flesh and really talented riders there this morning...so overall shaping to be a big sports Saturday.

Hoping my Irish can FINALLY beat the Bucnuts today. Been getting our ass kicked by them in Bowl games for years and would love a little retribution. You want to see an NFL match-up in this game; Benjamin Morrison on Marvin Harrison Jr.

Coach Prime taking it on the chin today. They had no shot with or without Travis Hunter. Maybe this will shut them up for a week or two

Anyone that watches CFB knew that Oregon is in a different weight class than Colorado. But the media insists on swinging from Deion's jock currently. Tough loss for the Irish last night, I was rooting for them.

It won't get easier for Colorado:

"Given the magnitude of the loss, it's difficult to evaluate exactly how to weigh the Deion Sanders experience. TCU slipped to No. 42 in the CBS Sports 133 rankingslast week. Nebraska sits outside the top 60. On the other side, No. 5 USC, No. 11 Utah, No. 14 Oregon State, No. 21 Washington State and No. 22 UCLA remain on the schedule.
The Coach Prime experience is built on much more than just results, but it's impossible to imagine the hype not taking a hit after appearing so far below conference attention. "

Lights weren't too big for that young QB the Bucks suited-up...That was a heck of a game, actually watched the whole thing.

As an ND fan I've been through some brutal losses over the years, but that one was right up there with the worst. Ohio State had no business winning that game.

I am really liking Penix JR. and that Washington team. They seem to have a fair amount of players who will be suiting up on Sundays. Penix footwork and quick release would be nice). Will be fun to see how they finish as the season goes on.
