I get the feeling that is not the way he wants to go out withering away in Jets green, especially after how fired up he was to play this season. Maybe he ends up our starter next season following that Favre script..?

Maybe. Depends how big his ego is. He likes doing things other than football and the rehab will be a bear.

Yeah, I get the feeling he is going the Favre route.  The mind is willing but the body is weak.  Off-season training gets overwhelming at that age.  And you cut corners and then get injured.
