Ridiculous stat
#1
After only three seasons, Justin Jefferson needs only 235 more yards to rank higher than any receiver in the entire 103 year history of the Chicago Bears. He will rank 9th on the Vikings.

wow.  That is ridiculous.  How do the bears have a SB ring and we don't?  Their list of QBs is terrible, they have had a few excellent RBs, but no WRs based on that.  Other than RB and defense, they have always been awful.

Of course the Vikings have some of the greatest all time players at several positions, but have never quite put it all together.

Another ridiculous stat.  Six players in NFL history have managed 1,600+ receiving yards in a season 2 times in a career.  Jefferson could be the first player to ever do it 3 times in a career and this will only be his 4th season.

Speaking of QBs, here's another remarkable one. Kirk Cousins has been a starter for 8 seasons. If he had played those seasons for the Bears, he would rank 1 through 8 on their career list. IOW, Cousins worst season was better than their best ever QB's best ever season.

And it's not like they didn't try to find a QB. Since the drafted began in 1936, they've drafted 45 QBs, 11 of which were 1st rounders, the majority of those taken in the top 5.

By having one of the greatest years a defense could ever have. That 46 defense was no joke.

Also, they got a little lucky because they played New England.

Yeah and often trading the farm to get that top 5 pick as well.
