I am really excited to see him in pre season, he seems to have everything to be an impact player, the backup RB battle is going to be a solid one.

This guy may have a good preseason but if they retain Cook then what is the reason for keeping McBride? None except taking a roster spot. How often in the past has the team utilized more than 2 running backs during the season. With Mattison, Chandler and maybe Cook this guy doesn't have a fit on this team.

His highlights look great, but his history not so much. Ball security is an issue, 9 fumbles in 2 years, has struggled against good competition, LSU and he is as fast as he looks,no second gear. Really hope he does well, love his balance/strength and getting North/South very quickly. Roughly same size as Ty Chandler and slower.

First couple of sentences he spoke, I thought it was Bubba from Forest Gump.

Hope he pans out, but right now the hype train is a bit much.

Quote: @StickyBun said:He's a 7th rounder, whom many RB-needy teams passed on more than once. Given that, a great accomplishment for him would be to simply make the roster. But we are talking about a player who led college football in rushing, ranked 1st among RBs in NCAA-to-NFL "translatable stats." And don't forget the starting RB on the Super Bowl winning team was a 7th round draft pick literally 10 months before. https://twitter.com/arjunmenon100/status...61474?s=20

If he can reliably get a yard when needed and not get stuffed or strung out he has a place. My only issue with Dalvin is the run for no gain ratio.
