His overhype last year by the sports media was so ridiculous. Most times these prospects that are considered 'raw' just never pan out. At all. I see NFL teams cutting bait or at least de-emphasizing bad QB draft picks faster than I've ever seen.

Word! But Richardson has more play against really good competition than Willis did at Liberty....and he never cut it at Auburn. I don't think they are an apple for apples comparison here exactly.

I agree that Richardson is different than Willis, but I think it is a cautionary tale for teams assuming an athlete is all you need.

If you look at the most successful QBs over the last couple of decades, the gray matter seems to be more important than the physique. Brady, Mannings, ....
Mahomes seems to be a blend of both which makes him very dangerous. I think Hurts may be looking to join that category.
