Receipts
#1
We're all wrong occasionally. It even happened to me once in the early 90s. B) But the receipts here are satisfying to watch.

Its crazy how absolutely stupid some of these opinions can be by 'experts'. But having said that, what some people don't understand is Skip Bayless is an actor. He's paid to be a villain and some lap it up like his schtick isn't totally contrived. There are no ratings without polar opposite takes. Stephen A. Smith is almost as obnoxious but again, he's paid to be that guy.

I suspect you're right about Bayless playing a role. If he were being honest with himself there would be a touch of humility.

Either way, I hate draft analysts like this, if you can even call them that. There's no balancing of positives and negatives. They've fallen into a "camp" where truth is irrelevant.

i was as wrong as wrong can be when it came to Johnny Football...What a flame-out that poor guy was.

As much as I pride myself on intuition for much of what life throws my way, I have absolutely none when it comes to how a college QB will transition to the NFL.

I said Manziel would be playing in Canada in three years and I couldn't have been more wrong. Took him four.  B)

I did think Mariota would be a star though. Remember all the Winston vs. Mariota debates? That was probably another board, but they went on for pages. And both sides were wrong. I mean sometimes it just makes no sense.

Ok. I don't want this to go into the other section. But how can you folks talk football when the country is going to hell? I'm astonished. Where is your sense of being America the place you live being first. Or you have no feelings at all? I'm just beyond shocked at you folks.

This is where society is on everything.
