Saw this draft between two Chiefs writers and it made me wonder how the Vikings would fare against other NFL teams' all-time, all-star teams. Looking over these Chiefs teams, I think the Vikings team would be better, and likely finish very well among the rest of the NFL.
Vikings have had some legendary talent over the years. We'd get hurt a little at QB and CB, compared to other teams, but imagine Randy Moss and Justin Jefferson as your wide receivers, Cris Carter WR3. Adrian Peterson your back. Your DTs are Alan Page and John Randle. Your safeties Harrison Smith and Joey Browner. Who beats that team?
A good project for PFF (or someone like that) would be to grade each team's all-star team to see who finishes at the top.

But who is gonna be our QB? Favre (2009, not 2010) Cunningham, Moon, Culpepper,Tarkington, Sloter? Making this list may just pull families apart

If we only played in the preseason it would be Sloter. :-) I would eliminate the single-season guys, so no Cunningham or Favre. So it would have to be Tarkenton or Culpepper. I think Cousins and Moon fit in right after those two.
Wow, KC's WRs are pathetic.
Moon would be my choice as QB. Smart, big arm, seasoned Vet.
Good luck choosing just two DEs. Doleman, Hunter, Allen, Eller, Marshall...

If I had to choose I would pick Eller and Doleman.

Excellent list. I might put Sammy White in over Harvin and maybe Culpepper over Favre. But like I said excellent list Skodin.

You must be an old dude. :-) White over Hutchinson? And I'd give McDaniel his true position on the left and make White and Hutch compete out of position on the right. I think McDaniel is the best lineman we ever had.

Yeah, KC's receivers are crap. Eddie Kennison and Jeremy Maclin? Wow. Their front four pales in comparison too. But those are the two standout positions for the Vikings I guess.

Otis Taylor was probably their best receiver ever
