Vikings wide receiver Michael Floyd will be back on the roster next week.
Floyd’s four-game NFL suspension ends with Sunday’s game against Detroit at U.S. Bank Stadium. The St. Paul native and former Cretin-Derham Hall High School was said to be quite anxious about his return.
“He’s staying in shape, working out,’’ Minnesota safety Harrison Smith, Floyd’s teammate at Notre Dame, said Friday. “I know he’s excited to get back out there. … He’s ready to go and to help the team any way he can.’’
