Thankfully he can't find the light switch. Someone lock the door from the outside.

The hilarious part is many current Jets are lobbying hard on social media to get Rodgers, yet the GM croons about Zach Wilson's upside and they have 'plans for him'...lmao. No they don't. The only plan is to trade or cut him this year. The players are DONE with Wilson.

Count me in for picking up Wilson for a low-round pick or if he gets cut. Vikings need a backup and let's see if he can be turned around. If not, no sweat....just release him. But on the low odds scale, if he could be rebuilt with a new, mature mindset.....he's got skills. He should want to come to such a stable organization like Minnesota for a solid 2nd chance learning behind a guy like Cousins.
His ceiling is NFL practice squad.  I don't think the Vikings are looking to collect the Jets trash and pretend it's valuable.  At least I hope they aren't. :#
He's 23, not sure his label is 100% garbage quite yet. But he'll have some odds to overcome for sure and what we've seen hasn't been good by any stretch. Look how well Josh Rosen has developed given a second chance.  :p

Talented QBs get second chances and so will Zach. Not sure it will be Minnesota, however.

Exactly. Eating the scraps from Longshank's table will not make a dog into a King!

Not so ancient Chinese proverb.

Saying everyone is shit doesn't make it so.  Especially from behind a keyboard.

Not saying I know anything about the guy, but certainly can recognize unrestrained keyboard bravado.

LOL. PF, I know you're probably just guarding yourself against his eventual, media-hyped, epic return to Green Bay. But let me assure you, he's done in Green Bay.

I know the Packers have had a HOF QB at the helm since before the web browser was invented (no joke), but I don't think Love is the answer. Love is like oxygen. Love is a many splendored thing. But he goddam better not be a HOF QB.

I think he'll be better than people think though. The Packers did it the right way. Drafted a project late in round one and let him sit and learn for 3 seasons. Vikings could do the exact same thing by drafting Hooker this year.

What's interesting is that Favre was 35 when Rodgers was drafted. Rodgers was 36 when Love was drafted. Cousins is 34.

Yah I dont disagree they tend to do QB well across the border to the east.

But many Pack fans will argue the franchise would have been better off to draft a WR, TE or another Rogers weapon instead of a QB to sit and percolate a while.

But hell, we're all in this instant fan gratification thing together....Purple, Green, Honolulu Blue, you name it.

Pretty good article about exactly that.

No doubt, another weapon like Tee Higgins or Chase Claypool would help a ton more in the now. But if the Packers are right? If Love pans out? Nobody will remember, nor care. Just like nobody remembers Thompson passing on DB’s Marlin Jackson and Brodney Pool in ‘05. How a front office navigates this position is a million times more important anything else. Gambling on a quarterback you believe in is always worth the potential payoff. If Love is everything Guteknust and LaFleur hope he is? They’ll forever be Packers royalty and the Packers could quite literally live a half-century in quarterback bliss.
