I hate the Lions!

Doesn't quite work, does it. Rivalry week is a decent enough idea, but put some thought into it.

Well the bears packers rivalry trumps anything we have going between either team so we are kind of stuck.  Not sure who outside the division we would better pair with.

Used to be the Vikings/Cowboys back in the good ole days. That's why I still hate the 'boys the most. You know, the pearson push off, etc.. These days I love watching good old Jerry squirm in his luxury box when the 'boys lose. They show it every time they play. Americas team my ass!
Hard for me to hate the Lions, but I did notice a little uptick in prickish behavior, by some of the players, when they started doing better!

I would say that whatever rivalry was there 30 years ago is irrelevant.

That's true and boy were there some great rivalries back in those days...

Cowboys v Vikes
Rams v Vikes

The Lions just might be a quality rival, albeit not a historic one, this year if they continue to ascend.

Lol,  go to Chicago or Green Bay and tell them that rivalry is irrelevant.   Eastern Wisconsin doesn't give a shit about the Vikings,  all they care about is beating the bears and winning the division,   the Vikings like the lions are just another obstacle.
