Gee, maybe the NFL HOF knows more than we do....lets see....
Ever played in the NFL ? If so, keep reading...
Ever played QB for a team in the NFL? If so, keep reading...
Ever led a comeback, playing QB for that team in the NFL. ? If so, keep reading...
Ever led a comeback, from a 33 point deficit, playing QB, in the NFL ? If so, keep reading...
Ever led a comeback, from a 33 point deficit, playing QB, in the NFL, in a quarter and a half?
Ever spent time in an infantry unit, son?
Ever served in a forward area?
Ever put your life in another man's hands, ask him to put his life in yours?
I was at that game, i understand the excitement that came from the ending, but what I dont understand is overlooking the fact that he is the same QB that failed to lead a single scoring drive in the first half that led the to the deficit that has everyone so happy to talk about. He wasn't alone, he had help, dropped passes, fumbles, etc, but he was as much part of the failure that led to the opportunity as he was to the comeback that came from it. That jersey belongs in the hall of shame as much as the hall of fame from that day IMO. That game was as much of an embarrassment for our franchise as it was an accomplishment.

We can't handle the truth.

You're right that Cousins didn't lead a single scoring drive in the 1st half. But since you were there, I'm sure you saw the blocked punt for a TD, the Dalvin Cook fumble at the end of a 40-yard drive that led to another Colts TD, the Reagor screw up that led to another Colts TD, and two 4th and 1 failures that had nothing to do with Cousins.

Oh yeah, that happened.

Yep, you are right, none of the offensive ineptitude was Cousins doing...I acknowledged that it wasn't him alone, but you seem to think he is beyond blame.
As you were....

Hmmm, nobody is saying that. Cousins isn't perfect. But you can't sit there with a straight face and say many 'Cousins is doing well' type thread you don't pop in to burst the bubble a bit. Which is completely fine, its how you feel. But you are putting MB in the 'Cousins is beyond reproach' box, so careful that you don't get put into the 'Cousins can't do anything right' box.

I really didn't think I needed to add that he didn't play well in the 1st half. I thought it might be enough to remind you of all the things that went against us in the 1st half that weren't his fault before throwing him into the "hall of shame."

I had already acknowledged that he wasn't alone to blame in my post, hell I was probably one of the first to point out that both picks were on reagor and not kirk after that game. The only reason he gets mentioned for hall of shame is he's the only one getting mentioned for hall of fame. As a fan I left the game embarrassed for how damn bad our team played for the first 2/3 of the game, happy that the pulled out the win, but that game was nothing to be proud of other than they didn't quit, once they finally decided to get started.
I know lets put Matt Ryans in there - since the talking heads crucified the guy for the Super Bowl comeback, and our comeback.
The QB is the field general and ultimately will be saddled with the completion percentage on dropped balls, interceptions for wrong routes and tipped balls, etc.
The guy starts every game, stands in there, under pressure, does a great job without any protection or bravado.
Dont understand why we just cant be happy for the guy.
