Getting whipped by a superior team so far

I've been a Vikings fan for nearly 60 years. This is what they do. They get you excited and then they do this. It's so typical. When you expect little, they might supersede your expectations. When you start thinking, "Hmmm, maybe this IS the year, then the gong goes off and you realize you're on the gong show.
It is what it is. If you were told the Vikings would go 2-1 over the last 3 everyone would have taken it.

Now is when we get to learn about O'Connell.  What can he do with this team on a short week after getting pounded.

I expected a 9-8 season, so we’re way ahead of my expectations.

losing by 37 points at home shouldn’t happen with any type of expectations. Vikings interior defense is bad.

Only putting up 3 points at home tends to suggest our offense is a problem as well.

absolutely!
there was no shortening the routes and this staff will not commit to the run when it is in their best interest. i mean, Dallas was 29th against the run.

We already knew that our interior was crap. We should have drafted Jordan Davis instead of trading for the busts we got.

With Ingram being the worst starting guard in the league this year, our draft looks to be a disaster.

Laughable, this has nothing to do with being flat, or making unforced  errors they are just getting beat all over the field.
This. No other way to say it and it be truthful.

The team still is 8-2. But as I said a month or so ago: they'll need every win by the time the season is over.

Last year's Super Bowl winning Rams lost every game in November. Two of them were blowout losses. Super Bowl winner the year before (Bucs) were blown out 38-3 at home.

As of this moment the draft looks really bad. The free agent signings and coaching hire look really good. So still overall very positive and still early for the draft picks, but yeah. Maybe that’s why Kwesi has already traded away half our 2023 picks ha.

So, we got our wins up front as opposed to one or two here and there? Which means we are in for some BAD weeks in order to hit your expectations.  :p
I agree with you though. If someone said we would be 8-2 at the beginning of the season, we'd all be making fun of them. I also agree that we will find out how motivating KOC really is as well as the character of this team. 40-3 at home is a pretty humiliating loss.
