Question -- other teams sharing information
#1
Do you think the Bills will share its scouting etc. on the Patriots and Jets with the Vikings now that it is in their best interest for the Vikes to beat both teams?  I wonder how much sharing goes on.  Clearly there is sharing among coaches who are friendly and share a coaching tree, but how much?

Dunno, I think most teams are pretty protective of their information.

That would be my take too...

But then you have people like Belichek in the league, Payton used to be and more. So it does make you wonder.

To be honest, I don’t think there’s that much secret
information.  Players and coaches are
constantly switching teams.  I think
every so often a team comes out with something new that other teams struggle
with, and once someone figures it out, the other teams copy what they did
pretty soon after just by looking at the tape.
By the time the next season rolls around, everyone’s got some variation of
what worked implemented into their playbook.

I think the bigger challenges are being able to figure out
how to translate what you intellectually know onto the field.  Like maybe you can tell Kendricks/Smith/PP
something off hand and they can exploit it, but if you tell the same thing to a
rookie with a Wonderlic of 5, their brain melts and something horrible happens.  Or you see the great stuff that Miami is doing
but you just don’t have the personnel to copy it or maybe you can copy it
against some teams with lesser defenses, but not against teams with better defenses.
