I can't help but wonder if he will get the same level of surgeon over there as he would in the US. Of course this isn't a torn ligament that he can fly around and see specialists, you likely basically get who ever the local hospital has available for thing like this.

Sucks for Cine and now we don't know how this injury will effect his career moving forward. He was drafted because of his explosiveness and ability to match up in coverage, now...who knows. He was clearly 4th on the depth chart behind Smith, Bynum, and Matellus.

Outside of Ingram playing mediocre football at guard (which is sadly an upgrade for us), this draft class has been a bust thusfar.

We tried to get really fucking cute draft day and it's turned out a bust. This team is lacking some talent in the trenches, we passed on David, Karlaftis, and Johnson to draft a guy who now won't be performing until mid 2023 at best

The NFL is a cold business. With all of the information we have right now, it looks like Cine is around an 85% bust. Maybe 95%… solely based on injuries. Hopefully he can overcome this and become a big time player for the Vikes. Rooting for him!

Just a reminder, Greenway missed his rookie season due to a preseason knee injury covering a kickoff, he turned out OK for us. Little early to be claiming bust, but the start is very disappointing for sure.

They have great doctors over England. Doctors over in England have to deal with soccer and rugby injuries.

I think that's best case scenario at this point. Greenway had an acl tear and limped off the field his rookie season. Cine's injury appeared much more gruesome and there's been no word on the exact injury is, just a lower leg issue that required immediate surgery. It sounds more like a Bridgewater type injury but for a guy who relies on speed and quick change of direction ability...that's not good.

I still don't understand what the hell we did in the draft, but thusfar it's all played out about how I expected it to. The Cine pick and trading all the way down were complete head scratches. To me you stand pat where we were and you take Jordan Davis (who would have been a day one starter and difference maker on a defensive line sorely lacking in difference makers), Jameson Williams, or if you really had to have another safety...just take Kyle Hamilton. All the Kwesi moving his paid little dividends through the first month of the season and Cine is done

We'll see what happens with Cine. He was off to a rough start and missing a few weeks to the rest of his rookie season won't make things easier. Having strong safety play is definitely something that any defense wants and Smith won't be around forever, but Bynum and Matellus have been solid so far and it was hard for Cine to break in. Cine has a higher ceiling than they do, so we'll see what happens long term, but not a great first pick for Kwesi so far, especially given all of the trading down they did.
