Isnt this the tackle that brought down TJH? Or am I remembering that incorrectly?
Football is not going to be football pretty soon. It's already lost a lot of luster with all the tackling rules. Defenders have to be able to stop in mid-air, shift their bodies while falling so that their weight doesn't come down on a player, not touch the QB after they release the ball and now they can't tackle the hips. What's next? No tackling around the knees or legs? Just give the offense flags and be done with it.
It's a contact sport, injuries are part of the game, at what point does the safety element get put on the offensive players? Maybe they need to adjust so not to put their players in harms way?
There will be a time that the NFL over micromanages the game, but until ratings suffer, it'll continue to be tweaked. I keep hearing faux fan outrage but its not showing up in the TV ratings.

you dont know shit... why would I want people to quit watching the NFL? what is the gain for me, more attention getting paid to ?
i simply have asked how do they know how many people are watching what when very few have a box sitting on top of a tv anymore that monitors their viewing for Nielson or who ever. Is there an accepted industry algorithm or is there a specific subset of society that willingly allows their device usage to be tracked by the ratings people?
