Backup QB $hit show

It’s a bummer about Mond but yeah we know Mannion stinks. I mean Nate Stanley was getting paid by the Vikings for a few years for Pete’s sake. I know the backup QB on most teams is bad, but ours are really bad. And it’s been that way for a long time.

Yeeeessshhh..

I was really hoping we'd start hearing positive things on Mond.

It doesn't matter at this point, once the backup plays it's over anyway. Remember Mannion against Green Bay? I definitely don't want to see that again.

It’s not though. Other teams make due with backup QBs for a few games all the time. The goal is to go .500 until the starter returns. Sadly for us .500 is a pipe dream. Hopefully Kirk continues his string of good health, or we’re toast.

I am speaking about this team. We saw what happened when Cousins was out. Hopefully he doesn't miss again. This team doesn't have it at backup qb. There are still OL questions but hoping they are getting closer to at least average.

With Mond in Zimmer's dog house from his first day last year he is basically a rookie this season learning a new offense.  Is it really fair for anybody this early to say he isn't very good?

When Malik Willis was sitting there in the 3rd round, someone who was a possible 1st rounder, did we really need to take a backup LB when we had no other option behind Cousins, especially with the QB position uncertain for the future.

Tired of the excuses for Mond and blaming Zimmer for everything.  Zimmer made one remark about him the last week of the season and it turned out to be correct.  Is it Zimmer's fault he can't handle the snap and is reportedly fumbling 3-4 a practice?

When was he ever a good pro prospect? Rick took a complete flyer on a kid with mediocre stats and whose robotic playing style was developed by Jimbo Fisher. The same guy who brought you the one and only Christian Ponder...
