That is one thing I think the previous regime did well.  They built a good team with good character.  It got rough and off track the last 2 years, but the character of the team should lead to a good result with the new staff.

Yea, I was huge advocate for getting Darrisaw in that draft.  I felt like he was the truest LT even though I had Slater first it was very close in my mind because Darrisaw has the longer arms/reach.
Almost had a heart-attack when Spelly moved down and by passed him.  Thanks to the Raiders drafting prowess they drafted a stiff ahead of us and Darrisaw was there!

Darrisaw is perfectly sized for an OT IMO.....just a shade under 6'5", so not too tall and has an anchor ass. Long arms. The kid is strong. Movement skills. Physically, he looks just like Williams.

And he certainly cost us a lot less than what we would have had to give up to trade for Williams a couple years back.
