He will be a huge contributor if he can stay on the field. Unfortunately some guys are just glass (by NFL standards). Hoping for the best but we’ll see.

If I understand it correctly, the plan was to let him participate in some drills but not all of them, as part of his 'bring him along slowly program'.
If Tomason assumes it's an injury, he may well be uninformed.

Oh great! It was an injury after all. A thumb injury requiring surgery isn't a season ender, but not good for a pass catcher.

Nope. I guess the good news is that he should still be able run routes and learn the offense.
