Can't throw a dead cat down here in SoFlo without hitting 10 of them (dipshits, not white supremacists). Not sure exactly how many white supremacists there are, but Trump sure opened up the Pandora's box there in this country, didn't he? Having said this: the U.S. is one of the least racist countries in the world. Europe is unbelievably racist and homophobic in comparison to the U.S. Its just that our media won't let us know otherwise.

and you dont see me quoting fox news do you? as far as trump stirring up racism..... yeah that box got the lid blown off well before he took office.
and yes, i find it really ironic that minorities have it so much better here than most anyplace else in the world, so much so that they are willing to risk their lives and their families lives to get here, but the US is a problem? could it be better, sure, it could be for all of us, but its gotten to the point with the media that I just turn it off, if you all dont like to it, i rarely take the time to read any of it these days.
as far as CNN, the report the news the way they want you to view it, just like CBS, NBC, and FOX. thats not reporting that is manipulating and is why we have the divide in this country that we have. people trust their sources and anything that is lock step is lunacy. well there has been a lot of the tin foil lunacy from a few years that has come to be found true, likely so on both sides, so what do we actually gain by following the preaching of our "news" cult leadership? It will be interesting to see if CNN can get their ship righted, IMO they are likely headed to a financial collapse and buy out rebranding type thing. I think the letters CNN have pretty much been burned for to many people to save the brand.... JMO, likely wrong.

We nominated a VP and a Supreme Court Justice simply based on their sex and skin color. White Men need not apply.

These clowns were there for a reason, to agitate at the minimum. They were there to get on camera so the media could show the hateful the "right" is towards the peaceful and "just wanting equality" groomers gyrating for kids.
Not one of these idiots were local. There were 2 from Idaho, but nowhere near north Idaho. Seemed like the same for the sinful Pride turnout as well. Not a big attraction, but they were downtown doing their thing dancing sexually for kids. Don't care what you identify as, that is wrong.

I've never quite understood the over the top Gay pride celebrations. I thought the purpose was to normalize homosexuality. I was in Downtown Madison once with my 70ish old (at the time) parents to go to the Farmers Market on the Capitol Square. When we got down there, it was not only the Farmers Market...but it was also a Gay Pride celebration sharing the space. There we two guys in leather outfits...one with a gag ball pretending to do doggie style on the other directly on the Capitol Square...it actually made me laugh..but my Father found the whole experience disturbing. I went over and talked to one of the guys (the one without the gag ball...lol) and asked him what he hoped to accomplish as it was clearly emphasizing to many in the crowd that homosexuality wasn't normal. Now...mind you...I've been to Gay civil union ceremonies going back 40 years and have many Gay friends so I really could care less. As you said Greed, there were a number of children there that day...I'm real sure that much of that experience wasn't appropriate for kids...particularly kids and families that weren't there for the Pride event...but simply to get some vegetables and cheese at the Farmers Market and enjoy a family day out.
