My perception - Seems like we’ve made a lot more “offseason” moves...

I may be wrong, (probably) but doesnt it seem like we have made something like TWICE the number of offseason moves, releases, signings than we usually do...sounds like there may be one or two more in the future? (Maybe its all the new staffing?)

Agree? Disagree? Thoughts?

We did have a BUNCH of defensive guys on one year deals so there was bound to be turnover.  But, I'd disagree on the number of moves.  It seems quite average for that.  We've really only added Hicks and Smith.  The rest will fight for roster spots.

I think the amount of turnover has been about average since we've also been up against the cap the last few seasons. So, this season has been on par with those I'd say. How much better are we because of those moves remains to be seen. I don't think we've done anything from a personnel standpoint that leads me to think we are a much better team talentwise outside of just hoping guys like Hunter, ISJ, and Zadarius Smith can stay healthy and on the field.

Don't think it quite compares to last offseason. That was the busiest offseason in my memory. I think we brought in a dozen free agents and about as many draft choices. P2, Breeland, Woods, Mack Al, Richardson, Weatherly, Griffen, DT, Cole, Westbrook, the kicker, the punter....

Hopeful Richardson gets signed still.

Other than Smith, I'd say the signing have been relatively low key. I mean, Jordan Hicks is a decent signing IMO, but just a two year, $10 M deal. Not huge by any stretch. Phillips, 3 years $19.5 M.....needed signing but nothing close to blockbuster. Honestly, I'm surprised the team did as many moves as they did considering their cap situation. Last year was busier.
