Quite the return on investment. The Twin Cities area has a lot going for it, I believe its either the 16th or 17th largest TV audience in the nation. Diverse. Fairly progressive. I'm a fan of Minneapolis the town.

The TV/streaming media contracts have made the NFL franchises incredibly valuable assets. The ability to ala carte, segment and position the content for sale (Thursday night, Sunday night, Monday night, Thanksgiving, etc.) continues to add value.
And once they realize how much more money they can make by making every game available for purchase ala carte? I think Amazon is the right model here, not Netflix.

This is inevitable imo...The owners just aren't woke to it yet. Too busy counting their current contractual $$$.

Once the networks and NFL do the calculus and see how much they can make streaming these games?

NFL season tix on satellite will one day seem archaic.

Like any other metropolis, it's got its +/- for sure.  The state has gotten much more polarized, which is sad.

There is still MN nice, but it aint what it used to be.

Its lovely here right now, its just enduring the 11 mos of winter thats gotten old. Might as well be in Canada lol!

Interesting observation PF!  You live in the TC?  I visit family in southern Minnesota just about every year and Minnesota Nice prevails in these rural communities.  Makes me feel like I'm "home".  Idaho has a similar friendly environment in the rural areas and in our smallish cities.

Im in Hennepin County - about 25 minutes NW of Mpls. And I am in no way a spokesperson for all things Minnesotan.

I think as long as people steer clear of politics, life can be good. Thats probably not just a MN thing though these days. I am doubling down on listening and trying to move away from being angry/so often with the political divide and differences of opinion.

MN has the reputation for friendly and its (for the most part) deserved. But there is also a VERY passive aggressive side to the MN culture too. Transplants can tell you all about it. You'll run across it in business as well as little league for the kiddo's.

That has nothing to do with MN.  That is just parents with too little self worth trying to live out their dreams.
