He lost..and not to a great candidate. A lot of people in his party are happy about it. "Lying piece of shit"....he's in politics...isn't that redundant? I have little use for the young firebrands on both sides of the aisle that play fast and loose with the truth and only foster hate. Frankly...AOC and the "Squad" (including Minnesota's very own Ilhan Omar) fall in that category. They keep getting reelected. I haven't lived in Minny for nearly 40 years so I guess it's possible that Minnesota nice has been replaced by anti-semitism and nonsensical views reflective of your Representative...but I kind of doubt it. Not sure how she keeps getting reelected.

So...I was doing fine when I agreed with you on the 25 year old first term, NC Congressman, Cawthorn, playing fast and loose with the facts but how dare I bring up other politicians that do the same? So...we only trash one side of the aisle. As an independent, I'll call them all out. The Republicans in NC primaried him out. He replaced AOC as the youngest Representative ever who also plays fast and loose with the truth in a hyper partisan manner. It's not healthy for the Country. I think they both make a pretty good case for a minimum age in Congress. As I said earlier, I have trouble with the so called young firebrands from both sides of the aisle...evidently, we can't talk about those on the Left... I was also reacting to the fact that when I posted, there were two back to back threads on Cawthorn...evidently a first term NC Congressman is big news. Not sure why? His party voted to replace him. AOC and the Squad including Minnesota's own Omar...not so much. I'd put Lauren Boebert in that category as well on the Right.
I get it...Republicans lie...Democrats misspeak. Republicans are insurgents...Democrats are mostly peaceful (masked) protestors. Right?
