Longtime #Vikings linebacker Anthony Barr turns 30 today. He remains a free agent.

I asked Barr what it felt like to turn 30 and be unemployed with a likely degenerative or at least chronic knee issue, with no prospects on the horizon.

I also asked if he needed help selling his home and that I would help him find a buyer, same as Michael Pierce. I informed him I wouldn't take the standard 3% for selling his home. This what I also told Pierce.
lol, ok as always with this, not sure what is real or what JT18 might have added because Chris is nuts.....but I think I saw this on Twitter for real?

Like all good parody, it's equal parts truth and fiction.

I love this play from his rookie year. Barr was a former RB and you can see it here with the acceleration and strength to shed the last second tackle attempt. He just raked that ball out but look at the pop Harrison Smith gave the guy at the same time, lol.

Geez, it appears no one likes Barr now.  I hope we don't resign him heads/words will spin Smile
I like Barr....always have. When he was on, he was disruptive. That game against Atlanta where he ran down the RB, forced a fumble and Minnesota recovered was one of the most athletic things I've seen in the NFL. I'd like him to stay.

Anthony Barr has got to be one of the most divisive players in Viking history.  National sports media has called him the most underrated player on the Vikings about 30 times. But most fans think he's overrated. I blame Zimmer.

RS made many mistakes, Voiding the remaining years on Barr's contract last off season  wasn't one of them.

The last few off seasons and OTA's Zimmer made the claim that he was going to change the way he used Barr.  Have him rush the passer more, yet every time the season started Barr was back at his usual spot doing the same every season with no change in the way he was used.

Tea.

Barrs knee is too risky to spend $ that he will want. Without the chronic  knee issue the arms would  be wide open with a reasonable short deal.

They discussed keeping Barr but once his contract voided it pretty much ended the conversation. I suppose is he literally doesn't end up having a market things could change, but doubtful he returns.

I'm just wondering what that front 7 is going to look like in a 3/4?

Hell, do we even have enough DB's on the back end to play 3 or 4 deep most snaps?
