A scary sight at @UMichFootball pro day. Edge rusher David Ojabo sustained injury in pass rush drill. Went down clutching left leg. Not sure if ankle or leg but he had to helped off field.

Not good.

Just saw the tape. Happened during a coverage drill. Clutched his ankle immediately. Might have just rolled it really badly.

David Ojabo left Michigan pro day on crutches with a boot on his left foot and a wrap on his left leg that went almost to the knee.

Sounds like a high ankle sprain.

I did not stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

OJabo at 12 sounds good to me (setting the edge with Hunter, Kendricks and Hicks in the middle)

That could be very interesting, especially if Watts can hold down a RDE position.

Grab a corner in round 2, maybe Bryce Callahan in FA

Tests confirmed that LB David Ojabo tore his Achilles, per a Michigan source. Doctors expect a full and complete recovery.

Rams’ RB Cam Akers tore his Achilles last summer and was back in about six months, and doctors expect Ojabo to be on the same timeline.

That seems incredibly optimistic. I don't think Akers is the norm for this type of injury.

My early guess is Ojabo goes in the 40-75 overall range.

I don't think he goes 1st round, but it won't be a free fall either. That is assuming the rehab/surgery stays on schedule with no complications.

Major bummer for him. Hopefully he can come back and get a nice second contract one day. Brutal.
