Longtime #Vikings linebacker Anthony Barr turns 30 today. He remains a free agent.
I asked Barr what it felt like to turn 30 and be unemployed with a likely degenerative or at least chronic knee issue, with no prospects on the horizon.
I also asked if he needed help selling his home and that I would help him find a buyer, same as Michael Pierce. I informed him I wouldn't take the standard 3% for selling his home. This what I also told Pierce.

lol, ok as always with this, not sure what is real or what JT18 might have added because Chris is nuts.....but I think I saw this on Twitter for real?
So back in 2014/15 you're running 4/3 D and you select Anthony Barr over Aaron Donald.
Right....

With a very deep LB draft, we can get someone who has the athleticism he used to have coming out of UCLA for a heck of lot cheaper. I have always criticized Zimmer for not using Barr effectively and taking advantage of his pass rushing skills that a 3-4 scheme would have featured.
Regardless if we can keep Hunter or not, there is a real possibility Jermaine Johnson will be there for us at 12. I think it will be between him or Sauce as to which one the Vikings grab depending on which one is there.
Yeah, but we need two. One can be easily eliminated by shifting protection. Hunter and a pick. Zadarius and a pick. Whatever, but we need two. We've got some really nice rotational pieces, but I don't see any of them as impact players.

I was just thinking the other day...outside of DH and EK there are no big knockers on D anymore.
This team has needed a 3t since Floyd went lame.

Well, that was one way to solve the problem!
Geez, it appears no one likes Barr now. I hope we don't resign him heads/words will spin

I like Barr....always have. When he was on, he was disruptive. That game against Atlanta where he ran down the RB, forced a fumble and Minnesota recovered was one of the most athletic things I've seen in the NFL. I'd like him to stay.
