Jordan Hicks, who turns 30 this summer, started all 49 games for the Cardinals over the last three years, with 116+ tackles every season. 89 total starts in his career. A versatile player and leader who can tackle and cover.

The #Vikings have reached out to multiple free agents, including CB Darious Williams, CB Patrick Peterson, and OLB Za'Darius Smith.

LB Josey Jewell back to the Broncos for a two-year, $11-million deal, per source.
Damnit. Maybe when we figure Thielen and Hunter we will get Bobby Wagner? Smile Speak it into existence?
Screw that.  Old broken players go to Seattle from MN, not the other way around.
Not sure if you’re kidding or not but I would 100% take Bobby Wagner so long as his contract isnt outrageous. He’s about as durable as they come and rarely misses games, which has been the biggest issue with the Vikes defense the last two years. Gotta have guys that stay on the field

The #Vikings see Jordan Hicks, who’s signing a two-year deal with them after being released by the Cardinals, as a a three-down linebacker in their new scheme. They’re also high on his leadership qualities as they add him to a defense in transition.

Do I have this right? The fan base that wants to tank to get better draft picks isn't patient enough to get through Day 2 of FA without getting all pissy.

Negotiations with Danielle Hunter have not been easy, but we are hearing they may have taken a positive turn today for potential stay in Minnesota. Stay tuned.

No thank you.  He is 31 with lots of miles, likely will get overpaid based on his name.  Never been a fan of Carrol and his guys.  Wagner was the heart and soul of that D, but if he was worth keeping, they would have likely kept him.

Anthony Barr returning to Minnesota? We hear it is a good possibility - an surprising as he makes too much for this roster unless he is finally going to be used as a pass rush playmaker in a 3-4 defense. Let's see what happens.

@PFF ranked Hicks 34th out of 95 LBs overall last season -- but 12th as a pass rusher.

Vikings now have two reliable MLBs, assuming Eric Kendricks sticks around.

I didn’t link it but Wolfson says there’s a Thielen restructure about to come down the pipe.
