Deshaun Watson invoked the fifth for about three hours this morning in depositions for two lawsuits accusing him of sexual misconduct. Simultaneously, about a mile away a grand jury is meeting, and Watson could be criminally charged today:

I have to laugh at that. The amount of PR you'd have to do would be monumental and never-ending. A brand new GM and HC are going to take this on....lmao. There is only ONE way it would happen. Only one. He'd have to admit to it all, unequivocally and apologetically and go to some kind of treatment. He'd have to own it, every single day for about 3 months. And there's no way he'll own it because of the civil lawsuits.

He has the potential to be charged criminally.  No way his lawyer was going to let him provide real answers in a civil deposition that could be used in a criminal prosecution.
