Good for him, that is obviously a goal for the kid that he reached and is proud of. Way to go Kris!

I am betting there are a number of posters on this board who when they were his age could do the same, I am a little surprised that this would be something that would be that significant for a NFL DB who is about 200 pounds.

Nothing against him, but I’m pretty shocked. Although, speed is probably what he worries most about considering it’s the NFL. He’s young too and it can take a bit to grow into your body. Good for him though, hitting his goals.

Perhaps his goal should be successfully covering someone.

Cool . . now you are a bum CB who can bench 300 lbs
Can we get this bum off our team?

I saw his tweet and laughed. Like COOL, you were so bad this year that it pained me to see you on the field. Set goals about being better, whether its quickness, lateral agility, or improving your 40. Go to Gold's Gym and talk about your bench, fans shouldn't care about that

Obviously a professional athlete is going to have both gym goals and sport skill goals that will lead to better performance. Good for him.

I like it. Maybe some of these things have to do with the energy of the new coaching staff. Seems like he is wanting to set a goal for himself to feed his motivation. Good for him.
