Drama Queen At It Again

My $$ is he's back in GB.

Not sure if they'll win another ring while he's there or not? I would have thought if it was going to happen? The last 2 seasons would have been it.

He was for sure drunk and by himself when he posted all of that. Drunk and emotional leads to some pretty good social media posts
Sounds more like he hit the bong than the bottle... maybe both!

I think he goes back to GB as well. He'll be 39 years old in December, so something will have to give with his physical skills.

So let's recap:

- A 'thankful' iG post to the Packers from Aaron Rodgers tonight.
- A Rodgers interview on Pat McAfee show tomorrow.
- Packers announce GM Brian Gutekunst will have a press conference on Wednesday.

Yeah. The Aaron Rodgers decision is, um, coming NOW.

Kaaron said he wanted this figured out by March FA, so this is early. My guess is that it's going to be a whopper contract at least $45mm/year.

What the guaranteed $ looks like is another question, what they'll get trading Jordan Love is another one.

I agree. He found weed last off season, along with his new hollywood friends, and came back as bun man with a whole new appearance and attitude. Hopefully he will get wasted on ear wax, give away all his earthly possessions, and move to a monastery never to be heard from again.
Or he'll wake up with a hangover, sign his big contract, and come back for one more shot at it. He would be a fool to leave Green Bay.

The Packers have an absolute mess from a cap standpoint. Even if they can get his cap number way down with a new contract, it’s not going to be nearly enough to get them out of cap hell. They’re going to have to unload some starters just to get back to even. Re-signing Devante is a pipe dream at this point.
If they trade Rodgers, they’re still looking at almost $27 million in dead cap on the books. Any deal would probably still involve eating a good chunk of that. They would still be in cap hell.
They could tack on extra void years to a number of players, but that comes with its own issues moving forward because it would involve a number of highly paid players.
At the end of the day, I have a feeling the front office would like to move on. They have so many huge contracts on the books right now that are going to impactful players. Players it would hurt to lose. I don’t see any way they aren’t taking a step back this year unless they hit home runs in the draft, or they move on and Love is the answer.
