Two Weeks from Today
#1
Vikings play Seattle two weeks from today. Who are you most excited to watch this preseason? Here's my list...
1. Jaren Hall - Not expecting much from a 5th rounder, but his poise, touch and running ability have me intrigued.2. Brian Asamoah - Flashed speed and instincts in limited snaps as a rookie.3. Ivan Pace Jr. - College football's highest graded LB. 4. DeWayne McBride - College football's leading rusher. But does his game translate to the NFL?5. Ty Chandler - Last preseason's most impressive back. Should see more carries this year. 6. Jaquelin Roy - My prediction for team DROY.7. Jalen Nailor - Came on late last season. Impressive early. Can he replace KJO in ’24?8. Ed Ingram - Significant improvement from Ingram could improve offense dramatically

A new QB always intrigues me in the way I get intrigued when I buy a lottery ticket: low expectations, but still disproportionately excited at the same time.  :p

Great list, Maroon.  I'd say Hall is #1 just because I really like what I've heard from him in interviews pre and post draft.

Pace is right up there too.  I think he's going to make the 53 as a special teams demon and I think Flores could even get him in as a rookie in certain situations with his pass rush ability.

With Dalvin gone, our RB depth will be interesting to watch.  I think Chandler showed great vision as an inside runner last season and has the receiving skills to be the 3rd down/change of pace guy behind Mattison.  They may even split carries/series in the regular season.

I really want to see what Addison and Nailor can do as well.

The battle for the #2 RB
#2-#4 DB battle
J.Addison vs KJO vs Nailor
Who's the tall, lanky rook DE out of Army? That guy too

Ingram … Can he turn the corner from bottom tier guard to
competent starter?

Addison/Nailor … I trust KJO at the #2, but how much contribution
should we expect from the rest of our WRs?

Cine/Booth …  They
were pretty much no shows last year both before and after they were
injured.  Where are we at now?

Flores …  Will we be generally
competent on defense

I think this list is excellent. Number 8 doesn't get me too excited, he played like an overdrafted guard in 22 and I don't expect much.
