Nope...Not posting the "next one" till it's official!

Bud is always on my Mt Rushmore, but I got an awful lot of affinity for Jerry Burns. I think he's my #2 fave of the lot of em.

Norm - I'm old, but before even my time
Bud - Always had his teams ready...unless the game had roman numerals
Les - R. Lee Ermey goes to Bloomington.
Burnsie - Coached the most talented teams to never win a Super Bowl. Fuckers.
Denny - I don't blame him for DeKnee. Drafted like he was drunk tho. Randy should have a ring.
Tice - Players coach, but too much buddy, not enough leader. Self promotional guru. Still checking on Cory Withrow's development.
?? - Who is that guy? I think I suppressed it.
Leslie - QBs killed Frazier's star
Zim - Great defensive mind who just couldn't evolve, then lost his team
O'Connell - Who knew it would take THIS long to finally win a Super Bowl?

Yup - Ponder killed the Frazier star lol (and a bad D)

I'm hoping I look back more kindly on Zimmer vs how I feel today.

What an interesting back drop for Bud.

I have no doubt that's the kick Anderson misses the NFCCG
Peterson being arraigned for beating his kid with a switch
Fred Smoot en route to the Love Boat

WTF

My own rankings

First 2 are easy for me:
Bud then Burnsie

Next two are a little muddier....
Denny or Zimmer???
Denny went batshit crazy at the end
Zimmer was old school to the core. IMO left a lot to be desired as a coach and strategist, bitter, game passed him by??? I may very well soften on him over time.

The next:
Meathead or Frazier?
Meathead won a playoff game @ Lamblow, not the sharpest knife on the tree, peter principle as HC, did a lot with a little working for McCombs...Also had Pepp and Moss in the arsenal.
Frazier is probably one of the nicest men you'd want to know

Van Brocklin b4 my time

Bottom feeders for me are:
Chilly
Steckel

Excited for the new coach!
My ranking:Bud
Denny - Eight playoffs with seven different starting QBs.
Toss up between Burnsie and Zimmer. Wished Burnsie had used Walker better, loved the defense though. Loved Zimmer from 2014-2017.TiceToss up between Childress & Frazier

i agree, Denny had a playoff run Zimmer could only dream of. Burnsie had one of the most talented young Viking rosters and had one playoff run. Very disappointing.
