Just so I understand your reasoning, Belichick basically outs the NY Giants for having a scam interview with Flores in order to get a competitive advantage over the Miami Dolphins? It seems to me that if Belichick wanted to harm the Dolphins, he could have done so in a more direct manner.

I think the better Belichick angle here is that he actively promoted Brian Daboll to become coach of the Giants so Daboll would leave the Patriots' in-division rival, the Bills.
