Some years ago I shot a commercial with him. He referred to himself in the third person all day. Like, “Prime is hungry“, “Prime’s ready to shoot“, “Prime’s got a plane to catch.” So one time when I was in the trailer with the other actor in the spot, I said “can you believe how Deion Sanders refers to himself?” The other actor ( much more familiar with Broadway musicals than sports) said “SANDERS? I’ve been calling him Mr. Williams all day!” I laughed so hard and told him —“good, you just keep calling him that.”

I don't think there's any doubt Coach 'Prime' is all about Coach 'Prime'. But he may be the type for today's NIL college football players. Let's see what he does at Colorado.
